For people like us, it is not a common tradition to celebrate our birthdays each and every year. It is more true when you are getting older and getting busier. Especially in my life, I tend to forget birthdays, even mine! However, since when did I could remember my wife's birthday, I won't know. Probably after coming to America! Here, a husband could tell you exactly each and every birthdays of their children, no matter how many they have. Not me still!
A new internet technology called Facebook plays an important role in making me a better husband. Ever since I registered myself in the Facebook it tells me whose birthday is coming up and when, including of course my wife's. Thank you Facebook. My wife and I started Facebook some months ago, since then there was no worry about not realizing one's spouse birthday. Cool.
So, on this November 1, my wife's birthday we planned to take our children out where they had never been before. Not a big place, but a great place where they claimed to serve WORLD'S GREATEST HUMBURGER; a place called FUDDRUCKERS.
Before we went there, I told my kids that there were nothing fancy about the place. Maybe because of that warning, they thought to see the place more like of Burger King. When we got there thought, it looked much better than they expected, that made me feel good! Huh!
As we chose a place to sit, we got a place nice and cosy where all of us could fit nicely. The theme for that place was nothing but classic rocks.
We got The King's corner. Exactly, King of Rock and Roll. On the opposite side there was The Beatles' corner.
They prepared thick hot fat Humburgers for us and we added the toppings to our own desire.... with a bowl of fat crispy western fries..ummmhh so fresh!!!
All of us said, " I am full". Look how Mama and Mummy look contented!! Famish gone!
After dinner, we strolled at the street of downtown Rockville City. The air was crisp and clean, rather cold, not many people were out unlike summer time.
The birthday girl looks sharp, elegant and almost flawless!
Kids too had a great time. They ate well besides, there's no school tomorrow, for it was election day. In our state it's a fight between incumbent Governor O'Malley and Ex-Governor Ehrlich. We would never know who would win at this time, but same time by tomorrow we surely would.
No...no.. no.. we didn't take a rickshow home!! It's too cold for rickshow riding lol. We just want to show you that in downtown Rockville some people use rickshow to get around just like Bagha. The only difference is the seat here are more comfortable than their counterpart in Bagha City.
